How to fix aspenONE Engineering Suite V10 Install hangs or stops at certain percentage?


HYSYS install hangs

Solution 
In this situation, the user is login as a Non-Administrative User Account installing the aspenONE Engineering V10.0 Suite manually on Windows 10.
The user account does not have privileges to modify the system registry; therefore, rebooting the machine will not change the system pending reboot status.
The aspenONE media installation will continue to request a "System pending reboot".


Option 1: Login as Administrator Account to remove the System pending reboot, then run the setup.exe from the install media again.
The pre-installation requirement is for the account installing Aspen products must have Local Administrator privileges.
Attached to this KB is the Aspen Engineering Suite Installation Guide V10 and on page 9 is the Pre-installation Checklist.
