1. Go to the unique folder where you stored AspenONEV8.8DocDVD.zip, highlight the file, right-mouse-click and select Winzip | Extract to here to unzip the file in the same folder.
2. Once you have unzipped the above zip file in its folder, you will have the complete DVD media and folder structures for each of the download.
Checksum Instructions
In order to verify the files after extracting them from the web download zip file, you can download the MD5 checksum file to compare the integrity of the extracted files. The checksum file is generated with the MD5 algorithm and you can create a similar checksum file using any checksum utility that supports the MD5 algorithm such as fsum or Microsoft fciv.
Using AspenONEV8.8DocDVD.zip as an example:
1. Click the AspenONEV8.8DocDVD.checksum link to download the checksum file.
2. Follow the instructions to download the attachment to your local drive.
3. Launch any checksum utility that supports the MD5 algorithm, and point it to the folder where the files were unzipped. Please be sure to supply the parameter to allow the checksum utility to generate a checksum on all extracted files.
a. E.g. Using fsum.exe as an example, enter the following DOS command, which creates a checksum file for all files under c:\temp\MyUnzipfolder and assume the DVD content was extracted to the c:\temp\MyUnzipfolder\aspenONEV8.8Doc folder .
b. Fsum -jm -r c:\temp\MyUnzipfolder\aspenONEV8.8Doc\*.* >> c:\temp\aspenONEV8.8Doc_unzipped.checksum
4. Save the checksum output as aspenONEV8.8doc_unzipped.checksum.
5. If you are using another checksum utility, please ensure that the format of the checksum file is [Checksum + path to the filename] in order to compare with the checksum files provided.
6. Use any file-comparison utility to compare the aspenONEV8.8Doc_unzipped.checksum and AspenONEV8.8DocDVD.zip.checksum.
7. There should be no differences between the .checksum files other than the time that the .checksum file was created. [In some cases, you may need to sort the checksum file based on the checksum number as the sequence of path/filename may not be the same]
8. If there are any differences in any file checksum, try to unzip the content from the zip file again and monitor if there is any error during extraction. Otherwise, please try downloading the AspenONEV8.8DocDVD.zip again before extracting the content.
