Setpoint Change with Aspen APC Builder

Description

The purpose of this lesson is to evaluate the performance of an MPC in the face of a strongly interacting multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system using Aspen Process Controller Builder. The traditional PID controller does not perform very well in this system. Aspen APC Builder is used to evaluate the response of an MPC controller with the same system.

Playing the Viewlet

A Viewlet is an animation sequence constructed by capturing a series of screen shots from a software application. Viewlets are used to demonstrate product features and to train users in simple procedures.
