Problem Statement
Whenever there is a new installation of Aspen Process Recipe Manager (APR) or Aspen Process Sequencer (APS), it is possible to install the Web server in a different box. If this is the case and there is no pre-IIS installation in the APR or APS server, the Web page will not connect to them.

Solution
For all Aspen Process Sequencer views other than the Graphic (custom) page, the content is generated from the ATM_WEB web site, which is installed on the Aspen Process Sequencer server. The resulting web pages are hosted within Aspen Production Control Web Server, and they provide full functionality for monitoring, operating, and managing transition Packages.

PCWS requires the folders in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\AspenTech\atm_web from the APS Server.
As a prerequisite, Install IIS and then AT recipe software. IIS needs to be installed and then the APS server will generate those atm_web files and send them to the web server. PCWS constructs a URL based on that hostname and embeds an IFRAME in the PCWS web page that displays the ATM_WEB application inside it.
