Problem Statement:   

Versions 15.0 of AspenTech Workflow uses a JDBC driver which has the following security vulnerabilities: 

  • CVE-2025-59250: This vulnerability can allow an attacker to compromise confidentiality/integrity/availability under certain conditions. The issue may be exploitable to compromise confidentiality, integrity, or availability depending on the deployment and attack surface. 

 

Solution: 

For this vulnerability, the only solution is to upgrade. This fix is available in AspenTech Workflow v15.0.1.
