An Aspen HYSYS Certified User has the in-depth understanding and practical skills required to build models and interpret results using Aspen HYSYS. The certified user is also capable of applying simulation skills to solve real world problems and achieve their sustainability goals.

Passing this exam will demonstrate that you have the skills in building process simulations including defining the properties environment, creating flowsheets with unit operations, and utilizing available tools for analysis and reporting. You will be able to demonstrate fluency with some more advanced topics such as convergence, troubleshooting, and detailed distillation modeling.

An Aspen HYSYS Certified Expert User has in-depth understanding and practical skills required to build complex models associated to Upstream, Midstream and Safety applications, and interpret results of a simulation using Aspen HYSYS with little guidance.

Passing this exam will demonstrate your skills on modeling process simulations, including being able to use dedicated unit operations, stream analyses and fluid packages for Upstream and Midstream application, such as using Aspen Hydraulics and Acid Gas processes. You will also demonstrate your knowledge on designing pressure relief devices using the Safety Analysis environment.
