PSV - Improve the Pressure Relief Analysis Workflow by using Integrated Process Safety Tools in Aspen HYSYS

In this hands-on workshop, you will use Aspen HYSYS Dynamics, HYSYS Safety Environment, and Flare System Analyzer to complete the pressure relief analysis for a system. You will be running an emergency scenario in HYSYS Dynamics then use these results to size PSVs in the Safety Environment and finally, the PSV design will be imported into Flare System Analyzer to assess the adequacy of an existing flare network model.

Audience:

  • Engineers interested in studying various 'what if' scenarios relating to the plant safety
  • Simulation experts who wish to integrate Aspen HYSYS Dynamics, HYSYS Safety Analysis and Flare System Analyzer to perform Pressure Relief Analysis
