EHY301Troubleshoot complex processes using advanced EO in Aspen HYSYS

In this hands-on workshop, you will use Equation Oriented (EO) Capabilities in Aspen HYSYS to simulate a fully integrated Crude Distillation Unit preheat train. All the pump around and products from the column are integrated with the heat exchangers in the preheat train using recycle operations. In the conventional mode such a complex simulation is difficult to converge and takes long time. You will convert this case into Equation Oriented mode, add EO specifications to represent actual plant operation and perform sensitivity studies for better understanding of operational synergies.

Audience:

Design engineers requiring complex simulation for in depth analysis of process operational characteristics
Process engineers interested in debottlenecking, troubleshooting and optimization of crude distillation train
Anyone interested to learn Equation Oriented solution strategy in Aspen HYSYS
