Aspen DMC3 Control & Optimization Qualification - Junior Level

This qualification program is available for MSC-APC partners only


The purpose of this qualification is to enable individuals to make technical contributions to APC implementations and projects using the DMC3 product. It serves as an enablement path that includes prerequisite validation, training and coaching, and concludes with information on the requirements for the qualification interview.

Approach

Delivered through AspenTech University courses, AspenTech provided coaching/content, self-learning and guided projects.

Pre-requisites

  • +2 year of solid and deep domain expertise in relevant industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process industries
  • Comfortable in programming with medium to high computer literacy
  • Prior experience in competitor APC technologies (RMPCT, SMOC…) is preferred for accelerated DMC3 learning path
  • Basic Process Control and Instrumentation knowledge
  • Educated in Mass & Energy transfer, Process calculations, Unit operations & processes, Organic & inorganic chemistry, Thermodynamics
  • Troubleshooting and people skills.
