Workshop Hands-On Aspen Fired Heater Examples
  •  Example 1: Crude Fired Heater One Convection Bank and Single Stream- Simulate a simple, vertical, cylindrical heater with one convection bank and a single crude oil stream.
  •  Example 2: Crude Fired Heater - Adding an Extra Convection Bank–Add tube banks with enhanced surfaces. Specify flow history for a stream that can enter the heater system more than one time.
  •  Example 3: Crude Fired Heater– Adding Extra Stream and Convection Bank. Add additional stream. Use COMThermo Physical property package to create mixture properties for a stream.
  •  Example 4: Twin Cabin Fired Heater – Simulate a twin cabin firebox with dual fuels, 4 convection banks and two process streams.
  •  Example 5: Single Cabin Fired Heater – Rate a single cabin firebox with roof tubes, 5 convection banks and two process streams.
