Solution

This Knowledge Base article shows how to check the version of the SLM Client dynamic-link library core component, which is (STRGXI2.dll) Sometimes it may be necessary, for troubleshooting purposes, to determine if a particular .dll file is the correct version.

1.             Locate the STRGXI.dll file, which may be located in the following locations:

V7.3 and older versions:

<root>:\ Program Files\Common Files\Hyprotech\Shared directory. 32bit computer

<root>:\ Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Hyprotech\Shared directory. 64bit computer

V8.0 - V10.1

<root>:\ Program Files\Common Files\AspenTech Shared directory. 32bit computer

<root>:\ Program Files\Common Files(x86)\AspenTech Shared directory. 64bit computer

2.             Right-click on the .dll file.

3.             Select Properties in the context menu.

4.             Click on the Version Tab. In the example below the version is 2010.0.0.287.
