Problem Statement
Importing Datasets and Cases information does not contain Local Slice information for the vectors, but it can import Global Slices. This article talks about working with local slices from DMCplus Model.
Solution
Please follow the next steps:
1.- In this example, there is a local slice, interpolated slice, and global slice for a data set
2.- Select all vectors and export them as .dpv file
3.- This instead of creating a clc file with all vectors splits the data set into individual vector files but can be group imported on dmc3 builder
4.- Additionally export the slice information as .dls
5.- Open dmc3 builder and import vectors files
6.- You will notice the local information is there
7.-import the .dls file
you will notice by going to the slice information edit box that all slicing information is there.
