How
to
fix ‘could not convert string to DateTimOffset’ error while using AUP Price Catalog.
Problem Statement
System language/displayed language: Korean
AU version: V12.1 Gold
Region format: English
When user mapped all the price catalog tabs, once clicked on the publish price model button, error message pops up like
"could not convert string to DateTimOffset: 2022-11-18 AM XX:XX:XX+00:00. Path 'dimensions[0]. modifiedDate', line1,..."
Reproduce Steps.
I
ssue can be
reproduced by the following steps.
1. Go to Windows Region setting, choose 'Korean' as the region format, please do not click on 'Ok' now.
2. From the administrative tab, find 'Copy settings' option, when launched, check 'Welcome screen and system account' option. Then Click on both 'OK' buttons as highlighted below.
3. Proceed to AU Price catalog page, perform the publish price model. The same error shall be seen per below screenshot.
Current Workaround:
Follow the same steps as above to change the region format to English, then check 'Welcome screen and system account' option on the copy setting page. After that, test with AU price catalog one more time. Please note that it's recommended to be done on AU server where SQL is installed.
In addition, this is a bug in V12.1 per
Defect# 825687, which
shall be fixed in the next version.
