What is aspenONE Process Explorer (a1PE)?

aspenOne Process Explorer (a1PE) is a web and mobile environment for monitoring plant data from Aspen InfoPlus.21 and other sources.  Quickly analyze process problems from anywhere using your mobile device.

 How can a1PE help you work remotely?

  • Access data using only your web browser.  No software to install. 
  • “Google-like” search quickly locates plant data, so you can quickly get to data analysis

How do I access a1PE?

Simply find the server where a1PE has been installed on your company’s network.  Then from your computer or mobile device, open Google Chrome or MS Internet Explorer browser and navigate to the aspenONE Home Workspace by entering the following URL:

http://<Company_web_server_name>/processexplorer

From this home page, simply navigate to the aspenONE environment to access:

  • Process Explorer (plots, graphics, analytics)

  • Alerts (lists all active alarms that have been configured)

  • Conversations (subscribe to and participate in news feed-type conversations, or posts)

  • Show Everything page (full page Search app)


How do I create a new plot in a1PE to view real-time and historized data?

In the a1PE home page, click on Process Explorer, for new trend plot, click on the (“+”) icon and select Trend from the Basic tab.

How do I search for process data information in a1PE?

In the new Trend plot, type the name/ description of the process data you are looking for in the ‘Add Tags…’ box and select it from the type-ahead list:
